In place of a chapter 5 test, the students have been assigned a question sheet that they are to complete for marks. This assignment is due on Wednesday, March 3.

The grade 7/8 class has been divided into three groups for this chapter. Each group has been assigned a portion of the chapter and they are going to become experts on the topic they are studying. They will gather the important information and present their section to the rest of the class. They have the option to present their topic any way they want, powerpoint/keynote, poster.... as long as each member of the group is participating. There will be a participation mark based on each group members evaluation. The Groups are: Confederation Issues (page 237-248) Nakira, Reno, Teslynn, Christie, Jake, Jesse, Ashleigh and Dustin The Confederation Deal (page 249-256) Mikayla, Cooper, Alexander, Rex, Bridger, Kayjay. Shanel, and Star Other Provinces Join Confederation (page 257-267) Mckay, Kelsie, Shania, Drake, Charity, Shay and Chelsea.
