"Battle of the Claw" Pincher Creek Bball Tournament

On January 15-16 the Hill Spring Panthers boys and girls teams participated in a Basketball Tournament held in Pincher Creek. The girls won their championship game and the boys lost in the championship game against the Magrath 9 team. Both teams played great with Teagen Schnoor getting the MVP honors for the girls and Ted Varley getting the MVP honors for the boys.

The girls are playing in a round robin style tournament with two games on Friday and one game on Saturday. They are separated into two pools they are:
Pool A:St. Michael's, Magrath and Crowsnest Pass
Pool B: Matthew Halton, Hill Spring and Livingstone Range
The girls Friday games will be at:
2:00 vs Matthew Halton
5:00 vs Livingstone
Depending on how they do on Friday, they will play one game on Friday to determine placing: 3rd in A vs 3rd in B at 10:00 am
2nd in A vs 2nd in B at 11:30 am
1st in A vs 1st in B at 1:00 pm
